Killer Instinct 64 - Early Proof of Concept (v0.0)

DISCLAIMER: This is an abandoned prototype and is NOT a full game. It is highly incomplete and was released as a historical curiosity.

This build was the initial test for a Killer Instinct port on the N64 before the project was pivoted to Mortal Kombat.

Features:

  • FMV viewer for 7 characters.
  • Unlockable Eyedol.
  • A functional 2-player versus mode with a static stage.
  • Limited animation sets for Thunder (~15), Combo (7), and Orchid (7).
  • High-quality audio.

I've been messing around with it for the past 2 hours and I hope to support you & this overall project soon in the future. I would love to see this be 100% completed because it's been a long time dream to have the original Killer Instinct fully playable on the Nintendo (ULTRA!) 64. Thank you so much for sharing this little prototype with us~:)
